PRICING AND ENGAGEMENTS

What does working with Heron cost?

Indicative pricing before you book a chat.

You should be able to judge whether Heron is broadly within budget before you book a conversation. The guide below gives indicative starting points and typical ranges. If we work together, the scope, fee, inclusions and known external costs are set out for approval before work starts. If the scope needs to change materially, the impact is discussed and agreed before additional work proceeds.

Weekly Operations Support starts from $3,500/month.
Add Senior Capacity starts from $8,000/month.
TRANSPARENCY BEFORE COMMITMENT

Know the likely cost before you commit.

Operational work does not have one honest list price. Two businesses can describe the same problem and need very different levels of diagnosis, coordination and implementation.

That does not mean you should have to book a sales call just to discover the likely investment. The guide below shows the current ballpark. Once the work is understood, Heron quotes the agreed scope up front.

If the scope changes, the price does not change by surprise. The impact is discussed and agreed before additional work proceeds.

PRICE GUIDE

What each engagement typically costs

Indicative starting points are shown below. Final fees depend on the agreed scope, complexity and level of support required.

01

Operational Diagnostic

OPERATIONAL DIAGNOSTIC

Find the root cause and work out what should change before committing time and money to the fix.

For when the cause is unclear, the same problems keep returning or several parts of the business are involved. Heron investigates the work, identifies root causes and produces a prioritised, evidence-based improvement blueprint. The blueprint stands on its own, so you can implement it internally, bring Heron in alongside the team, or ask Heron to lead agreed implementation.

Evidence first · prioritised blueprint · clear next steps
FROM
$4,000
Final fee depends on breadth, evidence required and complexity.
02

Fix One Issue

FIX ONE ISSUE

Take one clearly defined issue from Heron’s Fix One Issue menu and work through the practical solution and implementation.

Fix One Issue is a focused engagement for one issue from Heron’s defined list. These are common operational problems we already know how to scope, such as client onboarding, owner dependence, reporting, automation or a technology decision. Heron uses proportionate diagnosis to confirm the issue, designs the practical fix and agrees the level of implementation support needed.

Focused engagement · fixed scope · clear outcome
TYPICALLY
$5,500
Fixed fee for one listed issue. Any broader scope is quoted separately before work starts.
03

Weekly Operations Support

WEEKLY OPERATIONS SUPPORT

A 12-week engagement with one or two working sessions each week to keep priorities, projects and decisions moving.

Structured senior support over 12 weeks when several priorities need attention, decisions keep stalling or implementation needs momentum. A clear work plan and regular working rhythm keep priorities moving while ownership and capability remain inside the business.

Usually 12 weeks · weekly or fortnightly working rhythm
FROM
$3,500/month
Typical range: $3,500–$5,500/month
Most engagements around $4,500/month
04

Add Senior Capacity

ADD SENIOR CAPACITY

Add experienced senior operational capacity inside the business, typically 2–3 days per week, for larger projects, major change, growth or operational complexity.

Heron works inside the business with enough time and senior involvement to own or coordinate substantial work. The level of involvement, accountability, access and delivery is agreed in scope.

Time-bound senior capacity · scope agreed per engagement
FROM
$8,000/month
Typical range: $8,000–$15,000/month
Common starting point around $10,000/month
WHAT CHANGES THE PRICE

The fee follows the scope.

If a smaller engagement makes sense, the scope gets smaller too. If more work becomes necessary, the impact on scope, timing and cost is discussed before anything additional proceeds.

Breadth of the problem

One defined issue is different from several connected operational fronts moving at once.

People and complexity

More teams, sites, stakeholders or decision-makers usually require more coordination.

Delivery intensity

The fee reflects how much Heron is expected to diagnose, design, coordinate and deliver. A defined advisory role requires less delivery capacity than embedded implementation responsibility.

Governance and regulation

Regulated environments, governance demands and higher accountability can increase the depth of the engagement.

WHAT THE FEE COVERS

Scoped fees. External costs stay visible.

Included in the engagement fee

The diagnostic, design, advisory, implementation support and working assets agreed in scope.

Paid separately by the client

Software licences, automation platforms, external contractors, specialist tools and other third-party costs required to implement the solution.

If extra investment is needed, it is surfaced before commitment wherever possible. If it emerges during the work, the options are to proceed, reduce scope to fit available resources, or pause.
NOT SURE WHICH FITS?

Start with the problem, not the package.

A first conversation is simply to understand the situation and work out whether there is a sensible fit. If there is, the scope and price are clear before anything starts.
